When you get to Round 13, stuff it all the way because Round 14 closes the head off and it's hard to stuff it after you finish round 14

R12 sc in each sc around (12)

R13 dec2tog around (6)

R14 dec2tog around (3) finish off

Ears (make 2)

ch2

R1 5 dc (double crochet) into 2nd ch from hook, finish off

Sew on the eyes and ears acording to the picture. You can, of course, change the placement.

Tail and Arms

I crocheted right into the body when I did these. Take a long peice of yarn, fold it in half, stick your hook through a hole in the crocheting where you want the tail to be, and pull the folded end of the yarn through. Chain 12, with the two strands of yarn, or however long you want your tail to be. Do the same for the arms, except when you're done, finish off and tie a square knot with the two strands of yarn and cut the extra yarn off. then tuck the square knot into a hole in the crocheting so that it stays flat. I hope I made sense.

Tohru (In Riceball Form)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_e-UCaAXaSUA/SkrsNA0KrpI/AAAAAAAAAAU/gelDI0FhnJg/s320/Tohru.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353350815384514194" />

Onigiri (Riceball) Tohru

I'm SOO sorry if the pattern isn't clear. It's hard to explain, but if you just look at the picture, you should be able to figure it out.

Onigiri (Riceball) Tohru

This is a really easy pattern. All there is to do is crochet 2 triangles and one band to go in between. The triangles are the front and back, and the band makes up the sides

Triangle (make two) DON'T USE A TURNING CHAIN

ch 12

R1 1 sc in each st across, turn (11)

R2 1 sc in each sc across, turn (10)

R3 1 sc in each sc across, turn (9)

R4 1 sc in each sc across, turn (8)

R5 1 sc in each sc across, turn (7)

R6 1 sc in each sc across, turn (6)

R7 1 sc in each sc across, turn (5)

R8 1 sc in each sc across, turn (4)

R9 1 sc in each sc across, turn (3)

R10 1 sc in each sc across, turn (2)

R11 1 sc in each sc across, turn (1)

finish off

Band

note: fold in the triangles' corners about 1/3-1/2", so that the triangle is slightly rounded. with both triangles parallel to each other and good sides (the ones w/o the corners) facing in, the band should be able to go in between the triangles and make the sides. See the picture. Adjust the band so it fits.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_e-UCaAXaSUA/S28SFJYvGlI/AAAAAAAAACA/wUUHQKl3J3k/s320/TohruBandSides.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435583154887793234" />

To make the pattern a little more clear, I made another Tohru with a different colored band. The sides I refer to are the white triangles, the band I refer to is the fuzzy blue strip.

ch5

R1-33 sc in each sc across (4)

Yet another note: You might not want to tie off the band right now so you can adjust it later in case it doesn't fit.

To put together, put the right sides of the band and one triangle together and crochet along the edge. Always keep crocheting the same edge of the band to one triangle, and the other edge to the other triangle. Do 2 sides of the other triangle, but leave one side un-crocheted. Turn right-side-out. Sew on the face and mouth at this time. When the face and mouth are done, start stuffing and sew the remaining side together. Sorry if the instructions were unclear.

Here's a picture of the band and the side being crocheted together, I hope it helps:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_e-UCaAXaSUA/S28Son1uCbI/AAAAAAAAACI/cb7RU8iCldQ/s320/UnfinishedTohru.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435583764357843378" />

Kyo Kitty

Sorry about the messy blog.
