Masha (From Toyko Mew Mew)





Ok, for the main body, I used Lion Brand Fun Fur, Soft Pink, and for everything else I used Vanna's Choice yarn, a little bit of white but mainly light and dark pink. The Fun Fur was hard to work with because I couldn't see if I was skipping any stitches, and I was, so you can either use a stitch marker so you don't mess up or just count the number of stitches you do and freestyle it like I did...

R1 6sc in 2nd ch from hook


R2 2 sc in each sc around (12)


R3 (2sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around (18)


R4 (2sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around (24)


R5 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) around (30)


R6 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) around (36)


R7 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc around (42)


R8-12 sc in each sc around (42)


R13 (dec2tog, sc in next 5 sc) around (36)


R14 (dec2tog, sc in next 4 sc) around (30)


R15 (dec2tog, sc in next 3 sc) around (24)


R16 (dec2tog, sc in next 2 sc) around (18)


R17 (dec2tog, sc in next sc) around (12) stuff piece


R18 dec2tog until piece is closed, fasten off but leave a long tail, as long as you want the tail to be plus about an inch to use to tie the puff-ball onto

R1 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook


R2 2 sc in each sc around (12)


R3-5 sc in each sc around (12)


R6 dec2tog around, stuff (6)


R7 dec2tog around (3) Fasten off leaving an end about 2 inches long


Tie a square knot with the tail from the body and the end from the puff-ball as close as you can to the puff-ball. Cut off the ends.





Ears (make 2, don't use a turning chain)




with light pink ch 10


R1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 8 sts, turn


R2 sc in next 8 sc, turn


R3 sc in next 7 sc, turn


R4 sc in next 6 sc, turn


R5 sc in next 5 sc, turn


R6 sc in next 4 sc, turn


R7 sc in next 3 sc, turn


R8 sc in next 2 sc, turn


Fasten off and weave in end starting with the next sc in the row


Sew on the ears so that they curve in a little.





Wings(make four of these. You will crochet to of them together to make one wing. Only do a turning chain when indicated.)


With dark pink ch 8


R1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 6 sc, ch2, turn


R2 sc in next 6 sc, turn


R3 sc in next 5 sc and chain space, ch 2, turn


R4 skip first sc, sc in next 5 sc


Make one and fasten off. Don't fasten off 2nd one, put right sides together and sl st together almost, turn right side out, stuff, and sew together. Leave a long tail to sew to body. I sewed the wings on slightly below and behind the ears.





eyes (make 2)




with light pink ch2


R1 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook


R2 2 sc in each sc around (12) switch to white


R3 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around (18) fasten off leaving long tail for sewing onto body
