Head
ch2
R1 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook
R2 2 sc in each sc around (12)
R3 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around (18)
R4 sc in each sc around
R5 (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around (24)
R6-9 sc in each sc around (24)
R10 (dec2tog, sc in next 2 sc) around (18)
R11 (dec2tog, sc in next sc) around (12)
Note: at this point, it would be a good idea to start stuffing the head. When you get to Round 13, stuff it all the way because Round 14 closes the head off and it's hard to stuff it after you finish round 14
R12 sc in each sc around (12)
R13 dec2tog around (6)
R14 dec2tog around (3) finish off
Ears (make 2)
ch2
R1 5 dc (double crochet) into 2nd ch from hook, finish off
Sew on the eyes and ears acording to the picture. You can, of course, change the placement.
Tail and Arms
I crocheted right into the body when I did these. Take a long peice of yarn, fold it in half, stick your hook through a hole in the crocheting where you want the tail to be, and pull the folded end of the yarn through. Chain 12, with the two strands of yarn, or however long you want your tail to be. Do the same for the arms, except when you're done, finish off and tie a square knot with the two strands of yarn and cut the extra yarn off. then tuck the square knot into a hole in the crocheting so that it stays flat. I hope I made sense.
